Hi, I'm Álvaro, a software engineer who enjoys building things that last.
I don't believe great software comes from using the latest framework or chasing every new trend. It comes from understanding problems, making thoughtful decisions, and writing code that someone, including your future self, will enjoy maintaining.
I've spent the last several years building products across the web stack, from backend systems and APIs to frontend applications, cloud infrastructure, geospatial platforms, and developer tooling. More recently, I've been exploring local AI, agentic workflows, and how machine intelligence can become a practical part of software development.

coderkrow is my corner of the internet.
It's where I share the projects I build, document things I learn, publish open source software, and occasionally write about the ideas that shape my approach to engineering.
Some projects become products.
Some remain experiments.
Both are equally valuable.
Every side project is an opportunity to learn something new, challenge assumptions, and refine the way I build software.

Outside of code
When I'm not coding, I'm usually experimenting with new technologies, refining my development environment, running self-hosted services, testing local language models, or diving into topics that make me a better engineer.
